Our product lines have grown considerably in the past few years and now we offer interiors, parts, wheels and accessories for both Classic (1964-1973) Mustangs as well as Fox Body (1979-1993) Mustangs. SALES ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

The Sales Associate is responsible for representing Mustang America to current and potential customers by interacting with them in person, on the phone and online in a professional and courteous manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Field catalog requests from first time callers and assure the customer’s phone number and mailing address is obtained.
  • • Request the year of the customer’s car and find out the specific needs for the car.
  • • Provide the customer with the rep’s point of contact information.
  • • Establish and setup wholesale accounts by determining if they are an automotive related business.
  • • Field orders from wholesale and retail accounts/customers by providing the customer with current prices and availability.
  • • The Sales Associate must inform the customer of any details relating to the length of time before they receive their order, any pricing specials, and any credit the customer may have.
  • • Miscellaneous duties such as meeting with walk-in customers, retrieving customer’s samples and getting information to help solve any customer problems.
  • • Attend and work at yearly Carlisle Car Shows as scheduled.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • • High school diploma necessary and three to five years’ experience preferred working in automobile restoration industry.
  • • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400 environments.
  • • Possess assertiveness skills and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • • Knowledgeable about Mustang and the interior parts of Mustang.
  • • Possess an outgoing and personable personality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Sales Associate will be occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, squat, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Sales Associate works in a well-lighted, temperature controlled environment.

MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

The Manufacturing Associate may work in various departments of Mustang America's manufacturing facility depending on work load. The Associate is responsible for ensuring that our customer’s expectations are met by completing intermediate and final production processes of the hard goods products. The Manufacturing Associate must thoroughly inspect each product to find and correct flaws prior to routing it to the next operation or inspection station, place all cosmetic and needed hardware on the product, cut and glue excess material, and clean the product ensuring customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Properly setup the work area for the day’s tasks including setting up equipment.
  • • Produce quality vacuum formed polystyrene and PVC products through a series of production processes.
  • • Handle all phases of foam manufacturing and installation on product.
  • • Prepare polystyrene, PVC and vinyl/plastic products for final presentation to the customer by ensuring the product matches the manufacturing order.
  • • Communicate clearly with R & D and product inspector regarding tooling, product quality and other issues.
  • • Maintain and keep needed supplies and tools stocked and communicate when tools/machinery needs repaired or replaced.
  • • Properly shut down and organize your work area at the end of each day by following machine and equipment shut down procedures.
  • • Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Production Supervisor.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and attention to detail.
  • • Basic math and computer skills.
  • • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Manufacturing Associate is subject to standing, bending, squatting, pushing, lifting objects, crawling and working in otherwise awkward positions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT and HAZARDS

The Manufacturing Associate works in a well-lighted environment, but is subject to occasional high decibel sounds and non-toxic fumes associated with production. The duties of the position include working with tools, machinery and other items that have sharp edges.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT FABRICATOR (Full Time)

The R&D Fabricator is responsible for building molds used in the production of new products, and repairing and/or modifying molds already used in production, as needed. The R&D Fabricator is also responsible for the department’s machinery, equipment and tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • • Fabricate molds, dies and tooling that will be used in the production of new products.
  • • Perform repair, rebuilding, modifications and/or overhaul of manufacturing/service dies, molds and tooling as needed.
  • • Participate in problem solving with coworkers in R&D and production when a mold, die and/or tooling presents a quality issue.
  • • Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop equipment and machine tools, producing parts to tolerances and company specifications.
  • • Maintain and repair all tools and machinery used in the production process.
  • • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
  • • Requisition parts and materials as needed.
  • • Other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • • Ability to use hand and trades type tools required.
  • • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings helpful.
  • • Proficient with precision measuring and gauging tools.
  • • Previous wood shop and/or automotive body working skill experience desirable.
  • • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • • Good high school math, language and reading skills required.
  • • Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.
  • • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner.
  • • High school diploma or equivalent required.

INDUSTRIAL SEWING ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

The Seamstress (sewing machine operator) is responsible for operating a sewing machine to assemble or finish leather or vinyl products, and maintain the sewing machine by doing regular preventative maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Follow and read instructions on work order (back orders) on how to properly sew the product and use correct foot and thread on the sewing machine for the task to be completed.
  • • Inspect each piece of material or work in progress and other raw material to ensure quality standards are met.
  • • Communicate clearly.
  • • Shut down and organize work station at the end of each day by placing all raw materials in their appropriate storage containers, unplugging all tools and placing in their appropriate location. Sweeping the work area and taking trash to outside receptacles.
  • • Maintain and keep needed supplies and tools stocked.
  • • Other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • • High school diploma or equivalent and level of understanding to perform the job.
  • • Good communication skills:  written, verbal, listening and attention to detail.
  • • Basic computer skills.
  • • Basic math skills.

  • • Knowledgeable and skilled in operating sewing machines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Seamstress is subject to long hours of continuous sewing machine operation. Must have the ability to manipulate arms, wrists, and fingers in continuous repetitive motions and must be able to lift 20 pounds.

SHIPPING ASSOCIATE (Full Time)

Shipping Associate is responsible for all aspects of ensuring customer orders are packed and shipped according to company regulations and to minimize risk of damage during shipping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Shipping domestic and international orders by ensuring items pulled match the customer order.
  • • Obtaining correct parts from warehouse and printing out accurate shipping labels.
  • • Packaging products in a manner that minimizes the risk of shipping damage and is compliant with shipping regulations set forth by shipping companies and legislative bodies that govern product shipments, which include the laws of foreign countries.

JOB KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • • Solid work history necessary.
  • • Basic math skills required.
  • • Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • • Candidate must be able to work on their feet all day.
  • • Good keyboarding skills needed.
  • • AS400 experience a plus.
  • • Ability to lift 70 to 100 pounds without difficulty.
  • • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • • Assist in Order Processing/Receiving Departments as needed.

CUSTODIAN (Part Time)

The Custodian is responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility and assisting with company recycling programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Sweep, clean and run scrubber on floors.
  • • Empty office waste cans. Empty garbage cans – take garbage to dumpster.
  • • Keep restroom facilities clean and supplied with paper products. Empty waste cans.
  • • Operate hydraulic vertical baler to compact and bale recyclable and other materials.
  • • Operate mechanical granulator to prepare engineered manufacturing scrap for resale
  • • Assist in the removal of snow, leaves, and other debris from sidewalks as needed.
  • • Assist in keeping landscaping trimmed, clean and free of weeds.
  • • Assist in mowing grass when needed.
  • • Help Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
  • • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • • Good communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  • • Attention to detail.
  • • Ability to follow instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The Custodian must be able to stand and walk 90% of each workday, and is subject to bending, squatting, pushing, lifting heavy objects, crawling and working in otherwise awkward positions.
